Your Library Account

REMEMBER: Your library account and password are separate from your BanWeb account and your Academic Lab Login for ITC computers.

Log in to view your account. Your online library account allows you to submit Interlibrary Loan requests (ILL), view items you checked out, see when they're due, and renew them online. It also grants you access to the online resources provided by Skeen Library.

To gain access to your account, you must first activate it by setting up your password (click on the box labeled "Set/Reset Password"). You will receive an email at your NMT email address prompting you to create a password.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
  • To access your ILL requests, history, or to submit a new request, log in to your library account with your current credentials. If you don't remember your password, you can request a password reset.

Library Instruction

Our librarians offer library instruction tailored to the specific needs of you and your class(es), both in-person and virtually. You can request library instruction by filling out this form.

We also have research guides for each academic discipline, and can create course-specific research guides as well.

Course Reserves

We strongly encourage you to read through this tutorial BEFORE submitting your Course Reserves request. Due to vendor limitations, the form is not as user-friendly or intuitive as we would like.

Faculty and instructors may place physical items on reserve by filling out this form.

Purchase Requests

All purchase requests must be submitted by the department chair. Please remember all purchases for materials will be deducted from your department's annual allotment.

Our Cataloging and Acquisitions Department is responsible for ordering print and digital books and other physical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-Rays) for Skeen Library.

For book requests made by NMT faculty and staff, please use this form.

NMT students may submit book suggestions by filling out this form.

Institutional Repository

Upload your research materials to NMT's institutional repository, Zenodo.

Drone Room

The Drone Room will be open for reservations beginning in Fall 2021. Visit the Drone Room website for more information. 

Faculty Renewal Program

NMT faculty are eligible to check out most items from our general collection until the end of the current (or upcoming, if during the summer) academic year. (DVDs may be checked out for 3 days, regardless of the patron type.)

In an effort to better serve you, Skeen Library offers a Faculty Renewal Program at the end of each Spring semester. All you need to do is make an appointment, and a staff member will meet you in your campus office to renew items you wish to keep and to pick up anything you want to return. This service does not extend to off-campus locations. If you are unable to make it to campus, please email [email protected] for assistance.
