Eric Lackey enjoys spending time with his spouse and his dogs, exploring the landscape, cuisine, art and history of the Southwest, and filling as much time as possible with music, cinema, literature, and new experiences. He also writes short fiction.
He has taught Film and Creative Writing elsewhere for several years and continues to teach Screenwriting for other institutions. Currently he teaches English for NMT including Composition, and Intro to Literature and Film.
Eric's primary research interests include film studies, especially into independent and art cinemas and U.S. films about immigration. He has been published in Pilgrimage, Rio Grande Review, and The Moving Image.
